Automated Electrophoretic Mobility Measurements of High Salt Solutions

This application note describes how the Wyatt Technology’s Atlas™ and Mobius can assist with measuring mobility in aqueous solutions with high conductivity, which are typically difficult or impossible to measure. Wyatt Technology’s Atlas™ prevents the formation of gas bubbles that interfere with measurements while Mobius enables automated, high-throughput measurement of electrophoretic mobility and hydrodynamics radius. This article provides a practical solution to measuring mobility and hydrodynamic radius in solutions of high salinity.
