Calcium Storage Protein Calsequestrin

This application note describes using Multi-Angle Light Scattering (MALS) for the exact measurement of Ca2+ dependent polymeric state of calsequestrin. This demonstrated the interplay of monovalent and divalent cations on the polymeric behavior of purified calsequestrin, strongly suggesting that calsequestrin polymerization is under dynamic regulation by mono- and divalent cations.
