Changing pharmaceutical microbiology: MALDI Biotyper

In this product brochure, Bruker introduces the MALDI Biotyper^®, a microbial identification system based on MALDI-TOF mass spectrometry, allowing unbiased identification of microorganisms within a few minutes down to the species level. The system identifies microorganisms based on their molecular fingerprint, utilizing MALDI-TOF mass spectrometry to determine each organism's unique fingerprint from colony material.
