Characterization of a Point-of-Care Diagnostic for Ebola and Sudan Virus Detection

Viral hemorrhagic fevers are serious, often fatal illnesses characterized by high fever, damage to the vascular system, and multi-organ failure. Because of their rapid progression, the ability to detect and distinguish hemorrhagic fevers is paramount to treatment and survival. In this poster, the authors report on the characterization of rapid point-of-care diagnostic tests for Ebola (EBOV) and Sudan (SUDV) virus detection.
