Co-culture Assay of Breast Cancer and Stromal Cells using Corning Spheroid Microplates

3D cultures develop hypoxic cores and demonstrate gradients of soluble factors as well as diffusion profiles for drugs similar to solid tumors. This poster, presented at SLAS 2019, demonstrates a model to assess the impact that the direct and indirect presence of stromal cells have on cancer cell susceptibility to chemotherapeutic compounds, using Corning spheroid microplates and the HTS Transwell-96 tissue culture system.
