Common Causes of Lead Interference Using XRF®

28 Jan 2019

Some XRF software is designed to accurately respond to sample matrix effects. However, as with any analytical technique, there are some samples that can be particularly challenging for XRF due to density of the material and/or elemental composition. This document addresses common causes of spectral interference and answers frequently asked questions as they pertain to the detection and quantification of lead (Pb) in various homogeneous sample matrices.
