Controlling Inherent Contamination in Deep Well Microplates

28 Jan 2018

This article describes a study of commercial deep well microplates, conducted on behalf of Porvair Sciences R&D by the Department of Chemistry at the University of Kent. Mass spectral data on a large range of microplates from numerous manufacturers is presented, identifying significant levels of contamination in samples of many commercially available microplates while all Porvair Sciences deep-well plates were shown to be contamination-free.
