Correlating Consumer Sensory Experience from Apple Aroma with VOC Profiles Acquired by Automated TD-GC-MS
17 Apr 2019In this poster, Markes International Ltd correlates the consumer sensory experience from two fresh apple cultivars with their VOC fragrance profiles, acquired using a dynamic headspace sampling and analysis on the Centri® automated multi-mode analytical platform. This technique can be extended to a broad range of food and beverage products, enabling a comprehensive characterization of their VOC aroma profiles.
