Counting isolated nuclei from mouse brain

19 Mar 2021

Nuclei isolated from tissue samples such as a brain have high levels of debris, which in turn can affect downstream single-cell sequencing workflows and result in low-quality libraries or failed sequencing experiments.

In this application note, DeNovix demonstrates how dual fluorescence counting using the CellDrop™ FL Automated Cell Counter can clearly distinguish nuclei, unlysed intact cells, and debris by acridine orange / propidium iodide (AO/PI) counting. Download the full note below to learn how this protocol was used to accurately count isolated nuclei from mouse brain.
