Detecting the Compounds Responsible for ‘Boar Taint’ in Pig Fatback by GC–TOF MS and Targetview Software

This Application Note discusses the use of the BenchTOF mass spectrometer and TargetView software to detect three compounds that contribute to the undesirable odor known as ‘boar taint’ in pigs.
