Detection of HMT SET 7/9 with the Transcreener® EPIGEN Methyltransferase Assay

This application note demonstrates a streamlined approach to develop a Transcreener EPIGEN Methyl transferase Assay to detect the initial velocity enzyme activity of HMT SET7/9. The assay window would be suitable for inhibitor screening and dose response measurements.These steps can be followed to easily adapt the Transcreener EPIGEN Assay for doing high throughput screening with SET7/9.
