Detection of Ten Common STI Pathogens

16 May 2016

More than 1 million people acquire a sexually transmitted infection (STI) every day, creating need for early diagnosis and treatment to prevent more complications in the future. This poster from Randox describes a multiplex array on a biochip platform to detect ten common STI pathogens simultaneously from one sample. This method increases detection capacity, and saves time compared to methods where each pathogen must be detected individually.
