Determination of Fluorine in Silicon Nitride

This application note describes the determination of fluorine concentration in silicon nitride powder. The determination of the fluorine concentration was performed via molecule absorption of gallium monofluoride. The method uses direct solid technology, and is carried out on the contrAA® High-Resolution Continuum Source Graphite Tube AAS, and the solid auto sampler SSA 600, equipped with a liquid dosing unit.
