Determination of Monocrotophos, Diazinon, Malathion, EPN, and Methamidophos from Aqueous Samples

These are commonly used organophosphorus pesticides (OPP) in many parts of the world in agriculture for the control of insects and aquatic pests. Traces of these compounds are being found in food and water sources, and so their levels are closely monitored in waste water and drinking water. Many methods have been developed for this measurement, this application note discusses a technique called Salting-out Liquid-Liquid Extraction (SALLE).
