Eggerthella Lenta Bacteraemia: Clinical and Microbiological Characteristics

Eggerthella lenta is an anaerobic, non-sporulating, gram positive bacillus in the Coriobacteriaceae family. The aim of this study was to describe the clinical features of the author’s cases of E. Lenta bacteraemia, and further define their microbiological characteristics using modern microbiological techniques.
