Enhanced transfection efficiency on protein-coated microplates

In this application note, Greiner Bio-One GmbH details how transfection efficiency in HepG2, CHO, and HEK-293 cells was assessed using CELLCOAT^® plates and reporter plasmids. Results showed varying degrees of cytotoxic effects during transfection, with enhanced cell adhesion observed on PDL- and Collagen type I-coated substrates compared to standard cell culture surfaces. Overall, CELLCOAT^® plates demonstrated improved suitability for enhancing cell survival and transfection efficiency.
