Citric acid is used as an additive in many beverages to improve taste and flavor as well as an antioxidant. In this application note, Waters describes an analytical method for citric acid that has been developed using the ACQUITY Premier CSH Phenyl-Hexyl Column, with the ACQUITY UPLC H-Class System coupled with an ACQUITY UPLC PDA Detector.
