Fast and Simple Free Fatty Acids Analysis Using UPC²/MS

This application note presents a rapid, high-throughput and efficient method for the separation and analysis of FFA using UltraPerformance Convergence Chromatography (UPCC, or UPC²) with mass spectrometry. Results show this method to provide a simple and fast method with a significant reduction in analysis time compared to alternative techniques such as GC/MS, which requires FAME derivatization.
