Fluorescent Measurements using a Stopped-Flow Accessory with an ISS PC1 Fluorimeter

In this application note the SFA-20 stopped-flow accessory is demonstrated with an ISS PC1 fluorimeter to test their combination in the acquisition of fluorescent measurements. With this accessory, the collection of kinetic data was shown to be quite straightforward in terms of interfacing to the ISS instrument and was capable of producing good quality, reproducible traces. The method was shown to be economical in terms of sample consumption; a shot volume of 300 μl was used in the tests.
