Forensic Comparison of Trace Materials: Applying a Color Standard for Image Consistency and Reliability

This case study illustrates the use of ChromaCal calibration software to provide a repeatable method for the production of high quality images. Often, the color seen in the microscope is not the same as that seen on the computer screen or in the case report, and image consistency cannot be guaranteed.
