GoTaq® MDx Hot Start Polymerase for Molecular Diagnostics Labs

This application note discusses the properties which make the GoTaq^® MDx Hot Start Polymerase an ideal general-purpose enzyme for molecular diagnostic applications and laboratory-developed tests. It compares GoTaq^® MDx Hot Start Polymerase and other commercially available hot-start DNA polymerases in a series of PCR assays. The study found that GoTaq^® MDx Hot Start Polymerase had similar or better amplification sensitivity and higher specificity than other commercially available hot-start DNA polymerases.
