HemaCAM, a Novel Self-Learning Automated Digitalization Module, Part of the HaemCell Solution.

The HemaCAM^®is a computer assisted microscopy module for the fully automated analysis of blood smears. This poster describes a study undertaken at the Saint-Joseph Saint-Luc Hospital (Lyon, France) to evaluate the system’s ability to automatically acquire and recognize cell images from blood smears. The study assessed the HemaCAM^®’s performance in normal cell identification as well as its ability to discriminate between normal and abnormal cells.
