High Cell Density Fermentation of <i>Escherichia coli</i> Using the New Brunswick™ BioFlo® 115

This application note presents a successful example of a high density fermentation of Escherichia coli (E. coli) using the New Brunswick BioFlo 115 benchtop, autoclavable fermentor from Eppendorf. The highest optical density (OD600) achieved in this study was 140 at 11 h without optimized fermentation medium and conditions.
