High Throughput Chromatography Sorbent Screening and Purification Process Optimization of a Fab Antibody Fragment Using AcroPrep™ ScreenExpert Plates and PRC Prepacked Columns

Fab antibody fragments are increasingly used for therapeutic applications. Expressed at high yield, they are very specific and lack the Fc portion of the molecule that may lead to undesirable immunological reactions into patients. This study describes the development of a three-step purification process for a fragment of antibody (Fab) expressed in Pichia pastoris.
