High-throughput modeling of IBD using human intestinal organoids

24 Mar 2024

Inflammatory bowel diseases (IBD) involve chronic inflammation of the gastrointestinal tract, which is often challenging to model accurately using traditional mouse models. Recent advancements in organoid technology provide a promising alternative for disease modeling and drug screening. In this application note, Molecular Devices presents Gri3D®, a high-throughput and reproducible 3D culture platform, which addresses the limitations of traditional methods by allowing the growth of human rectal organoids from single cells with high scalability and reproducibility.
