High-Throughput Peptide Screening (EU-TARGETBINDER)

18 Oct 2015

Via particle-based combinatorial synthesis, the immobilization of 1 million different peptides on a glass substrate surface is possible. This application note demonstrates the use of Biametrics Technology for labeling-free parallel readout of up to 10,000 binding affinities per cm2. The goal of the TARGETBINDER project is to find high-affinity peptide binders against pharmaceutically interesting target protein, e.g. growth factor receptor-bound protein 2 (Grb2). Grb2 is an adaptor protein involved in signal transduction/cell communication. Therefore, the protein represents an interesting target for anti-tumor agents.
