High-Throughput Screening of Deubiquitylase Enzyme (DUB) Activity/Specificity and Inhibitor Screening by MALDI-TOF Mass Spectrometry

17 Dec 2014

In biopharmaceutical laboratories, there is a growing need for high-throughput, yet sensitive methodologies to characterize deubiquitylase enzymes (DUBs) and DUB inhibitors. This application note demonstrates a sensitive and fast assay to quantify in vitro DUB enzyme activity using matrix-assisted laser desorption/ionization time-of-flight (MALDITOF) mass spectrometry, called MALDI-TOF DUB assay.
