How Chemicals Influence Cell Proliferation

Straightforward cell culture monitoring using CASY TT

22 Mar 2016

The CASY system is useful for measuring cell proliferation within a culture as it not only counts cells but also determines the amount of dead and viable cells, as well as the amount of general debris present. This application note from OLS OMNI Life Science describes a study using a CASY system to compare the cell proliferation of two cell lines when subjected to two different chemicals - the antithrombotic drug dipyridamole and dextran sodium sulfate (DSS), which is used to mimic colitis in vitro.
