iCell® Cardiomyocytes - Using Transfection for siRNA Delivery Application Protocol

27 Jun 2013

Delivery of exogenous small interfering RNA (siRNA) in cultured cells is an effective method to modulate target gene expression via RNA interference (RNAi). This protocol demonstrates the utility in delivering siRNA for efficient GAPDH gene silencing in iCell® Cardiomyocytes using TransIT-TKO Transfection Reagent in 12-well cell culture plates at 7 days post-plating and should serve as guide to deliver other siRNAs using other plate formats at different time points post-plating.
