Introduction to Centrifugal Partition Chromatography

Centrifugal partition chromatography (CPC), also known as countercurrent chromatography (CCC) is a preparative, pilot and industrial scale liquid purification technique that does not require traditional solid supports. This application note introduces CPC and explains how a liquid stationary phase is maintained in an LC column, how separation occurs and what the advantages of CPC are over other purification techniques.
