Label-free High-Throughput Peptide Screening

High-density peptide arrays have been measured with the Berthold Technologies bScreen featuring the Biametrics 1-lambda RIDe label-free technology. It is possible to screen up to 20,000 of peptide-protein interactions per cm² within a few minutes. The label-free monitoring of these interactions in real-time allows for a quantitative ranking and a full kinetic evaluation of these interactions. High affinity peptide binders against the pharmaceutically interesting target growth factor receptor-bound protein 2 (Grb2) can be identified and characterized.
