Light-scattered Characterization for Vegetable Oil Polyols

Light-scattered Characterization for Vegetable Oil Polyols

10 Nov 2016

Light Scattering (LS) has not been used for characterization of vegetable oils and their products, mainly because of their low molecular weights. Vegetable oils are becoming extremely important renewable resources for the preparation of polyols for the polyurethane industry. This application demonstrates the use of SEC-MALS-VISC-RI for fast and precise characterization of products based on modified vegetable oils.
