Live Cell Imaging of RNA Expression: Using the Cytation™ 3 Cell Imaging Multi-Mode Reader to Image SmartFlare™ RNA Probes

The determination of RNA expression levels is an important component of cell biology research. Unfortunately many techniques are laborious requiring extensive sample preparation and normally performed on cellular lysates. This application note describes the use of the Cytation™ 3 Cell Imaging Multi-Mode Reader in conjunction with SmartFlare™ probes to assess RNA expression in live cells through automated fluorescence microscopy.
