Measuring protein thermal stability and phosphorylation changes to capture early cellular responses to small molecule drugs

14 Nov 2023

In this scientific poster, Pelago Bioscience presents the measurement of protein thermal stability and phosphorylation changes as a strategy to capture early cellular responses to small molecule drugs. Both target engagement (CETSA®) and cellular signaling (phosphoproteomics) methods are employed to capture these responses. Changes in binding specificity result in downstream phosphorylation events and underscores the value of parallel CETSA and phosphoproteomics analysis for obtaining comprehensive data on the specificity and mechanism of action of kinase inhibitors.
