Measuring the Oceans Salinity - Density Makes the Difference

25 Mar 2016

The salinity, and consequently the density, of seawater plays a crucial role in ocean currents. Instead of calculating the density from Practical Salinity, direct density measurement of seawater is gaining recognition among marine scientists. This application note demonstrates the measurement of ocean salinity using the DMA 5000 M.
