Natural Organic Dye MSn Library For Art Conservation

14 Nov 2012

In this applicaiton note, the Natural Organic Dye MSn Library for Museum and Art Conservation applications was created using common known colorant sources (pre-1856) obtained from plants and animals (Kremer Pigmente). Femtograms of sample can be screened to determine the source of colorant by running a simple High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) mass spectrometry (MS) method with the Bruker amaZonTM SL ion trap mass spectrometry system combined with automatic MSn reference library searching.
