Non-Destructive Measurements of Internal Quality Indicators in Pears

Sugar content is an important metric in determining proper harvest time and eating quality in pears. This application note details a study in which the effectiveness and viability of the F-750 Produce Quality Meter in predicting TSS (Total Soluble Solids) in pears. It was found that the F-750 precisely predicts the internal properties of pears. The F-750 a is fast, accurate and non-destructive way to assess the internal properties of pears and helps to save time and money.
