Optimal Assay Conditions for hERG Pharmacology Studies Using the IonWorks Quattro System

In this application note optimal assay conditions for obtaining the best potency measurements for hERG safety pharmacology studies using an automated electrophysiology platform are established. Polypropylene and glass-coated compound plates are evaluated as well as single-pulse and multi-pulse command voltage protocols, high- and low-chloride buffer conditions and cell density.
