Optimization of Qualitative and Quantitative Follicle Stimulating Hormone Analyses by High Performance Mass Spectrometry

Mass spectrometry based analysis of biotherapeutic drugs is gaining popularity in biopharma industries. Complete characterization of such molecules requires both qualitative and quantitative type of analysis. High resolution mass spectrometry plays an important role in establishing robust methodologies for quality testing. This study demonstrates the use of high resolution mass spectrometry for the characterization of Follicle stimulating hormone (FSH), a biotherapeutic drug which has significant role in various reproductive treatments.
