Optimizing protein-protein and protein-small molecule kinetics assays

31 Jan 2019

This application note describes how the Octet instrument family – a real-time, label-free system – can be used to analyze the kinetics of protein-protein and protein-small molecular interactions. It describes tips and tricks for obtaining the best possible data which include optimizing the target of immobilization and analyte binding. It concludes that carefully optimization will allow the Octet system to yield excellent kinetic data.
