Pre-Filtering Ions in the Source Region to Improve Instrument Robustness and Dynamic Range

This application note describes a method for filtering ions in the source region of an Orbitrap Fusion™ Lumos™ Tribrid™ mass spectrometer by modifying the existing electronics to supply a resolving DC to the ion guide in the source region.
