Quantitation of Benzodiazepines and Z-Drugs in Serum with The EVOQ LC Triple Quadrupole Mass Spectrometer

Benzodiazepines and “Z-Drugs” are commonly prescribed drugs however they also have the risk of causing dependence. This study demonstrates a method for the simultaneous quantitation of 18 benzodiazepines, metabolites and z-drugs in serum using the Bruker Advance^TM UHPLC coupled to the EVOQ Elite^TM triple quadrupole MS. This method provided precise and accurate results, and was shown to be more selective and sensitive than the traditional methods.
