Rare T-Cell Subpopulation Screening on iQue Screener

Rare T-Cell Subpopulation Screening on iQue Screener

19 Oct 2015

Fast and statistically significant screening of rare events or cell types is an oxymoron for traditional flow cytometry. To get statistically significant data on a small sub-population of cells requires sampling a large number of cells which slows the sampling rate. The large dead volume and sample size of traditional flow systems means more time and sample is consumed. In this application note, the iQue® Screener was used to provide statistically significant data on a sub-population estimated to be 1% of the parent T-cells, from a mixed PBMC cell source.
