Reliable time-to-result with a high throughput PCR purification protocol using magnetic beads

18 Mar 2025

PCR purification is a critical step in molecular biology workflows, ensuring the removal of primers, nucleotides, and other contaminants that can interfere with downstream applications such as sequencing, cloning, and genotyping. Using magnetic bead-based purification simplifies the process by selectively binding DNA fragments while eliminating unwanted byproducts.

In this application note, INTEGRA demonstrates an efficient and scalable PCR purification protocol using MAGFLO™ PCR beads with the MAG module on VIAFLO 96 and VIAFLO 384. The automated workflow enables high-throughput processing of 96 samples simultaneously, improving consistency and reducing hands-on time.
