Screening and Quantification of Opioids in Serum by UHPLC-TOF

11 Feb 2014

TOF mass spectrometers, unlike tandem quadrupole instruments, collect full spectrum information without loss of sensitivity observed with scanning instruments which allows for both targeted and non-targeted analysis making them ideal to use in forensic laboratories. This application note presents a study for screening of opioids along with the quantification of the drugs in serum using a time-of-flight (TOF) mass spectrometer.
