Separation of antidepressants using HALO 90 Å PCS C18

In this application note, Advanced Materials Technology discusses the utilization of a HALO® 90 Å PCS C18 column to separate tricyclic antidepressants (TCA), a drug class mainly employed in depression management. The positively charged surface (PCS) stationary phase proves advantageous for basic analytes with low ionic strength mobile phases, like formic acid. Additionally, it enhances sample loading in contrast to conventional C18 columns available in the market.
