Separation of synthetic benzodiazepines by SPE and LC-MS/MS

In this application note, Phenomenex focuses on tracking and detecting synthetic benzodiazepines using effective LC-MS/MS techniques. The study quantifies 14 compounds in a urine matrix with high-sensitivity using fast LC analysis. The panel includes 13 "synthetic" benzodiazepines, and Alprazolam is added for necessary differentiation. Strata^®-X-Drug B Plus is chosen as the ideal SPE plate, and a Kinetex^® Biphenyl LC column is used for chromatographic separation.
