Simple Sugars Analysis from Soft Drinks Using Luna Omega SUGAR LC Columns

Simple sugars are the smallest and simplest carbohydrates found in many food products, especially soft drinks. Sugar analysis is critical to food quality as well as labeling requirements for nutritional content. This application note features the separation of simple sugars from various cola products, using the Luna Omega 3 µm SUGAR LC column to produce excellent separation of glucose and fructose.
