Simplified Cannabis Terpene Profiling by GCMS

This application note details a method for the profiling of terpene, a group of aromatic compounds that gives cannabis its fragrance and which are of medicinal interest. The study uses a Shimadzu GCMS-QP2010 SE single quadrupole mass spectrometer with the HS-20 headspace autosampler for sample introduction. The application note describes the operating conditions, sample preparation, calibration, and results of the study.
