Solid Phase Extraction and Analysis of Coenzyme Q10 from Plasma

Coenzyme Q10 is a ubiquitous protein that is associated with many diseases, including heart failure. The quantification of coenzyme Q10 in human plasma is therefore of particular research interest. However, its highly protein-bound state presents challenges from an analytical standpoint. This application note describes the extraction of Coenzyme Q10 and it's subsequent analysis by UPLC-PDA detection.
